With more than 1 million unique users visiting YouTube each month, it’s definitely the most popular video sharing website on the Internet. 

Over 6 billion hours of videos are watched each month- which is almost an hour for every person on Earth. 100 hours of video are uploaded every minute. 80% of YouTube traffic comes from outside the US. The number of daily subscriptions is more than 4 times since last year. 

YouTube reaches more US adults aged 18-34 than any cable network in the US. Millions of subscriptions happen each day. The number of people subscribing daily is up more than 3 times since last year, and the number of daily subscriptions is more than 4 times since last year. 

We’ve asked a number people at the Sixth Form College Solihull to see whether they have YouTube as part of their lives.

YouTube has also found new popularity as career. Examples include Justin Bieber, famous pop artist, Karmin, who specializes in covers, TheFIneBros, famous for their “Reaction vids”, FilthyFellas, a weekly discussion on the weekends premier league football action with a range of you tubers,gamers and musicians,finally Doug Walker a.k.a The Nostalgia Critic, famous for his movie reviews.

There are a lot of Youtubers who even aid people in making a career from it. But what do the people think?

In conclusion, YouYube definitely a great career for people to have but not one that you can solely rely on.
